Islamic Countries Want Turkey To Block Danish PM As NATO Head

Turkey's Islamist Prime Minister Erdogan is voicing strong objections to Denmark's Prime Minister Rasmussen becoming NATO Secretary General.

That because of what Erdogan says is lingering Muslim anger over the Danish cartoons of Mohammed, and Rasmussen's defense of freedom of speech.

From AFP:

"In an interview with NTV television, Erdogan said he explained his objections to Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen personally in a lengthy telephone conversation earlier Friday."

"I told him about the annoyance of the public" over his possible nomination for NATO secretary-general, Erdogan said.

"My party has principles... and I definitely cannot contradict them," he said. "I told him he can appreciate what that means."

"Erdogan said he had received calls from the leaders of Islamic countries urging Turkey, NATO's only predominantly Muslim member, to veto Rasmussen."

"There was serious indignation in Muslim countries because of the cartoon crisis. These countries are now calling us," he said.

"Rasmussen invoked freedom of expression to defend the publication of a series of irreverant cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed in a Danish newspaper in September 2005, which triggered outrage among Muslims worldwide."

"Erdogan said Rasmussen had also failed to act on Turkish requests to ban a Denmark-based Kurdish TV station, widely seen as the mouthpiece of the separatist Kurdistan Workers' Party, listed as a terrorist group by Ankara and much of the international community."

This is another good reason why Turkey should not be in the European Union.

Fitzgerald: Why The EU Should Reject Turkey-Dhimmi Watch

Hugh Fitzgerald of Jihad Watch summarizes:

"The entry of Turkey into the E.U. would be the end of Europe not as a "Christian club" but as a part of Western civilization. It would damage free thought, art, everything else. There is no reason to think that such admission would transform the Muslims of Turkey."

Update 04/03/09-

Rasmussen's nomination for Secretary General of NATO was blocked by Turkey this Friday at the summit meeting.

Turkey is the only Muslim majority member of NATO.

All 28 nation members of NATO must agree on the nomination before it can be approved.

This clearly illustrates the utter irresponsibility of allowing Turkey, a Muslim majority nation into the NATO alliance. And why they should not be allowed in the EU.

Western hating Islamists the world over will make use of Turkey to advance, or block, any policies or actions they like or don't like.

U.S. Military Aid To Lebanon: Even While Hizbullah Has "Veto Power"

U.S. military aid arrives in Lebanon as part of $400 million package deal:

"The Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) on Monday received a shipment of American military vehicles as part of an aid package agreed upon between the two countries following a 10-day visit to Washington last month by Lebanese Army Commander Jean Kahwaji, The Daily Star Lebanon reported."

"The paper reported LAF would also recieve the small, unmanned Raven aircraft system to help the army boost border control and fight terrorism."

The part about helping the Lebanese Army with border control, and fighting terrorism, Well--, they can't, and they won't fight Hizbullah.

The LAF certainly didn't fight the Hizbullah terrorists in 2006. Not even to try and prevent Hizbullah from using human shields in civilian areas from where they launched their Kaytusha rockets from.

Meanwhile Hizbullah continues to have veto power over major political decisions as part of an agreement, in exchange for pulling their terrorist goons off the Beirut streets:

"Securing a veto 'was Hezbollah's main victory', said Amal Saad Ghorayeb, author of Hizbullah: Politics and Religion, a history of the Shiite Muslim movement. 'The United States will not be very happy about that.' The government, [Lebanese], will be unable to disarm Hizbullah..."

Not only is the Lebanese government incapable of disarming Hizbullah, after the Lebanese elections scheduled for June '09, Hizbullah may very well be the Lebanese government.

Iran, Hizbullah, Set To Buy Lebanon Elections:-Newsmax

"Flush with a huge injection of fresh cash from its Iranian backers, and with its weapons stockpiles replenished many times over since the 2006 war, Hezbollah seems poised to win — or buy — the upcoming parliamentary elections in Lebanon this June, many Lebanese fear. "

"Western diplomats share those concerns".

"Iran and a number of other countries are helping to bankroll their friends' campaigns and, in some cases, are engaged in outright vote buying. We're watching things carefully, with a particular close eye on Hezbollah and Iran," one senior diplomat tells Newsmax.

"Sources in Lebanon say that Iran in recent months has smuggled in large amounts of cash to Hezbollah-upwards of $ 1 billion-in order to buy the election."

And what will become of that U.S. military aid? One guess.

Lebanon is scheduled to have elections in June.

Media Blackout

This news item should be front and center on all major news sites:

Western Funders Misled: Fatah Still Refuses To Recognize Israel, PA's "recognition" only to recieve international aid"

As of today, this report has been totally ignored by all major news sites.

Why this is important:

It pulls the mask off of the myth of "moderate" Fatah.

The public has constantly been told by the MSM, diplomats, and politicians that "Fatah" ,which runs the Palestinian Authority, is not like Hamas or Hizbullah. They are supposedly the "moderates" who want peace.

That is complete media distortion.

Listen to Fatah's leaders in their own words:

MSM Missing Headline: Fatah Still Refuses To Recognize Israel

The report was first published yesterday by Palestinian Media Watch directors Itamar Marcus and Barbara Crook.

Along with a youtube video of an interview in which Muhammad Dahlan, a senior leader of Fatah, acknowledged that the PLO Fatah doesn't recognize Israel.

An excerpt from the report:

"When Western countries met last month to pledge billions of dollars in funding to the Fatah-led Palestinian Authority, they stressed that Hamas would not receive funding until it recognized Israel. However, a senior Fatah leader, Muhammad Dahlan, admitted yesterday on Palestinian Authority television that Fatah - just like Hamas - still does not recognize Israel.

Furthermore, he said that the Palestinian Authority's apparent "recognition" is to make the PA "acceptable" to the international community, and therefore allow it to continue to recieve international aid:

"I want to say for the thousandth time, in my own name and in the name of all my fellow members of the Fatah movement: We do not demand that the Hamas movement recognize Israel. On the contrary, we demand of the Hamas movement not to recognize Israel, because the Fatah movement does not recognize Israel even today."

Yet governments throughout the international community continue to pump $ billions in aid to the Fatah PA.

After the report was initially published by PMW, it recieved some attention in Israeli media such as Jpost. Tuned in bloggers also covered it as well.

But not the regular MSM.

As of this writing neither Drudge Report, Yahoo News, CNN, Fox, AP World, or Reuters are bothering to report on this.

However, the Drudge Report, at the time of this posting has this:

Along with this caption:

NYT THURSDAY: Israel's growing international isolation as Netanyahu prepares to take power... Developing...

[the link on Drudge to that NYT article is not working at present,  because it's "Developing..."]

Why doesn't Drudge have this headline and link:

"Western Funders Misled: Fatah Still Refuses To Recognize Israel"

Real Clear Politics, of it's many headline articles, has no coverage of the PMW report.

However, in the morning edition of Real Clear World, they have a link to a really nasty article against Avigdor Lieberman by Robert Fisk:

Lieberman: Middle East's Worst Case - Robert Fisk, The Independent [RCW]

So, in other words Mr. Fisk, if one desires that the citizens of their country be loyal and patriotic, that makes them racist? [not hardly].

I'll continue to check in with Fox, but I don't expect any of their anchors to report on this either.

The concern among your favorite conservative talk show hosts over how taxpayers money is spent, appears to be limited to mortgage bailouts and AIG bonuses, but not how it is helping to fund the Fatah PA terrorists.

When was the last time Rush Limbaugh complained about U.S. taxpayers money going to Fatah? Or Laura Ingraham, or Sean Hannity?

This is hardly the only time members of the so-called "moderate" Fatah PA have voiced their non-recognition and true intentions towards Israel.

Abbas Zaki, the official PA representative in Lebanon, reaffirmed in an interview with NBN-TV, the PLO's commitment to the "Phased Plan".

What Netanyahu Should Say To Javier Solana

Javier Solana, the EU's dhimmi representative, is making threats and engaging in a less than respectful tone  towards Prime Minister-Designate Netanyahu.

From Jpost

"Let me say very clearly that the way the European Union will relate to an [Israeli] government that is not committed to a two-state solution will be very, very different"-Solana

"If you won't be willing to engage in the same kind of reckless irresponsible appeasement policies as your predecessors, and be willing to give up your Biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria for another Palestinian state, then the EU is gona get upset and nasty about it."

Before the new government is formed in Israel, Solana is already making nasty threats and taking sides against Israel.

Such an attitude on the part of Solana reveals not only his lack of proper respect for the new incomming Israeli leader, it also demonstrates contempt for the majority voters in Israel.

A recent poll found that:

51% to 32% of Israelis oppose the establishment of a Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria.

52% to 22% believe that a Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria would lead to rockets on Jerusalem and central Israel.

This is certainly reflected in the results of Israel's national elections. An overwhelming majority of Israelis having rejected Parties that favored more appeasement concessions.

The EU, along with team Obama, is also pushing for the legitimacy of the Hamas Islamic terrorist organization. It is history repeating itself as in the case of the wrong and irresponsible legitimization of the PLO.

On that note, a senior leader of Abbas's Fatah Palestinian Authority ,just the other day, acknowledged that the Fatah PLO still does not recognize Israel's right to exist.

What Netanyahu should say to Solana, [other than- "go jump in a lake"]:

With all due respect Mr. Solana,

  1. The so-called two-state solution is no solution.
  2. There already is a Palestinian State, it is called Jordan.
  3. Judea and Samaria belong to Israel.
  4. For two thousand years Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem were under foreign occuption.
  5. As of June 1967, Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem, were no longer under foreign occupation but restored to Israel.
  6. Jerusalem is and will remain the undivided capital of Israel.
  7. Despite Israel making previousj appeasement concessions for "peace", there has been only more terror.
  8. There is no genuine desire for real peace on the part of the Arabs.
  9. The real conflict is ideological and is driven by the religion of Islam. [The "House of Islam's" jihad to subjugate the non-Muslim world, refered to in Islam as "The House of War"].
  10. In that regard Judea and Samaria are an important front in resisting the global jihad against the West.
  11. The establishment of a Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria is contrary to Israel's vital national security and interest.
  12. Read Ezekial 37:21. And "believe" Ezekial 37:21.

"I will bring you back from the nations where I have scattered you, back to your own land."

"...back to your own land."

In summary Mr. Solana, I would suggest you and your EU delegation wake up, and focus your efforts on resisting the Islamization of Europe.

If you would really like to be of some constructive help in the situation Mr. Solana, then I would encourage you to support the Israeli Initative as a much more viable and realistic plan.

C.A.I.R. Attacks Virginia Congressman Frank Wolf

C.A.I.R.  is attacking Va. Congressman Frank Wolf.

From IPT:

"The FBI severs its relationship with a group due to its ties to Hamas. Though it touts itself as "America's largest Islamic civil liberties and advocacy group," an FBI agent has testified that the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is a Hamas front."

"A ranking member of Congress asks the Bureau for more information. He viewed the response he got back as incomplete and he pointedly asks the FBI to try again, mentioning his role on a congressional committee responsible for FBI budgets."

"CAIR - frozen out by the FBI since last summer - issued a statement Thursday, accusing the congressman, Virginia Republican Frank Wolf, of having "abused his power." His hard line, the statement says, is an act out of vengeance because CAIR has disagreed with some of Wolf's policies and statements."

"Wolf is in his 15th term and has been re-elected easily. CAIR's disagreements with him have done little to slow his work. But the statement still tries to deflect attention from bad news for CAIR about the FBI cut-off first reported in late January by the Investigative Project on Terrorism."

What Evil Persons Put A Bomb In A Purim Gift Basket?

Last year during Purim someone, or some persons, left a Purim gift basket that contained a bomb on the door step of a family in Ariel.

A dispicable act of hate that caused seroius injury to a 15 year old boy, and almost took his life.

As of today, nearly a year later, no one has been arrested or charged, despite the police having clear leads.

The Messianic Daily News: Ortiz Bombing Still Unresolved

"Exactly almost one year ago, on March 20, 2008, 15-year-old Ami Ortiz stayed home from school. It was Purim – a Jewish festival in which holiday baskets are sent to friends and acquaintances to commemorate the Jews’ thwarting of Haman’s evil plot as recorded in the book of Esther in the Bible. To Ami’s delight, someone left a holiday package on the Ortiz family’s doorstep. When young Ami opened the package, it exploded in his face, filled his body with hundreds of pieces of shrapnel and left him in critical condition. Ami’s father, David, is a pastor of a Messianic community in the town of Ariel. Apparently, this was not an attempt to injure a fifteen year old boy, but rather an attempt to murder a minister of the gospel in Israel."

"A police investigation was opened after the bombing. However, the Israeli police have been extremely indifferent and apparently negligent in conducting the inquiry. The surveillance cameras which had been installed by the Ortiz family actually managed to film the person who delivered the package. They handed this recording over to the authorities; but to their dismay, no arrests have been made and the police have refused to return the tape to the Ortiz family. A year after the tape was confiscated by the police and after repeated refusals by the police to release their property, the family brought the matter to court. With Ami and his parents present, the judge ruled to return the tape to the Ortiz family."

"Last May, a day after a revealing expose on the issue was aired on Israeli television (Channel 1, "Yoman Shishi"), police contacted the Ortiz family asking them to resend many important documents pertaining to the investigation – the original copies had been lost. This proves that nothing had been done until the issue was brought to the media, two months after the actual event. Distinguished lawyers and representatives of pro-Israeli organizations have tried to bring this case before government officials. Promises have been made, but with no satisfactory results. It is suspected that a number of high-ranking officials and fundamentalist Rabbis in Israel are attempting to engage in a serious cover-up of the true situation."

"We are concerned that if this type of violence against Messianic believers in Israel goes unchecked by the prosecuting authorities, it can create a slippery slope of violence towards the community. Fliers, showing pictures of Messianic leaders and congregational members have been have been circulated in every major city and many smaller settlements in Israel. These fliers contain a message to the public to be aware of these missionaries who are trying to steal the souls of Jews, and who masquerade as Jews but are not Jews. Names and addresses have been published under the pictures, which is against the law. In Ariel, the fliers were posted in every bus stop from Tel Aviv to Ariel, a distance of 45 kilometers. We do not know if the perpetrators of the bombing in the Ortiz home were the ones who published these fliers, but at the very least, the fliers incited and helped them to identify the family and their address."

"It has been said that the test of a true democracy is the way it treats its smallest minority. We believe that legal status of the Messianic Jewish community is just a micro-cosmos of a much broader issue; namely, the treatment of non-orthodox Jewish citizens by the government of Israel. All citizens of Israel should be entitled to full and equal protection by law. When this is not the case, the very legitimacy of our state as the only democracy in the Middle East could be called into question. This would not be beneficial for the State of Israel, especially with the current winds of anti-Semitism blowing across the international arena."

Yad L' Achim Advocates Law To Suppress Freedom Of Religion

Yad L' Achim is based in Israel and describes itself as an organization that was founded in 1950 for the purpose of helping Jews who immigrated to Israel adjust to their new country.

Certainly a very valuable and important service.

However, in more recent years, Yad L' Achim has focused much of it's attention opposing missionary activity and religious groups it views as "cults".

To that end they are vigorously advocating a change in current Israeli law that would have the effect, if adapted, of nullifying freedom of speech and the ability of one to voice his or her religious beliefs. Both in the public sector and in private conversations.

It is certainly legitimate to challenge the religious views and beliefs of those with whom one disagrees with. However, the proper means of doing that is by acceptable forums of debate and conversation. Whether in a public venue or in private conversations between individuals.

Such a draconian change in the law that Yad L' Achim advocates, if adapted and made law, would destroy freedom of religion in Israel and call into question it's standing as a democratic country.

The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom once again listed China as a country of particular concern last year.

12 nations were listed on the report as "countries of particular concern". All of them either Communist or Islamic. A detailed report on each country listed can be read here.

At the invitation of the Chinese government, Rabbi Binyamin Kluger, of Yad L' Achim, participated as one of the speakers at what was billed as the "International Forum on Cultic Studies".

Now bear in mind the "host" of this event:

The atheist Communist Chinese government.

Well documented for it's torture, discrimination, and persecution of religious persons in China.  Especially the "house-church" Christians.

The event cannot be seen apart from it's potential use as a propaganda tool for the Communist Beijing government.

It would not be unreasonable to speculate that whatever expert advice Rabbi Kluger or the other "anti-cult experts" had to offer,  it will be used as an instrument for religious persecution and opposition to freedom of religion for China's people.

During the event in China Rabbi Kluger was asked what he considered to be the most dangerous cults in Israel. The first thing he said was "Messianic Jews".

I would strongly disagree.

Messianic Jews in Israel are patriots who love their country and serve in the IDF. They identify Jesus, [Yeshua], as the Jewish Messiah and the Son of God who offered Himself as the final and ultimate sacrifice for our sins. Isaiah 53:3-6

Obama Acting Above His Pay Grade

When does a baby have human rights?

Obama: "That's above my pay grade".

The answer he gave in response to the question from Saddleback Pastor Rick Warren.

Mr. Obama is wasting no time in acting "above" his pay grade.

His first move was to reverse the Mexico City policy, which will result in "your" tax dollars being used to promote the abortion holocaust overseas.

This week it is reported that Obama will issue an executive order lifting a ban on embryonic stem cell research.

Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council said a greenlight will now be given to taxpayer funds being used in experiments that will encourage the destruction of human embryos.

There is no proof that embryonic stem cell can cure anything:

"In proper medical research, 'proof of concept' must first be established in animal models before moving to human subjects. Such proof using embryonic stem cells has not been established in any of the conditions such as Alzheimer's, multiple sclerosis, diabetes and Parkinson's disease, which are so often part of public discussion. Some of the proposed cures are highly unlikely and others are only potentially viable on a very long time-frame. For example, Alzheimers disease is a global disorder of the brain and is highly unlikely to be amenable to any form of cell therapy at any time in the future." (Professor Michael Pender, Director, Neuroimmunology Research Unit , University of Queensland, submission 84).

The Lord told Jeremiah,

"Before I formed you in the belly I knew you..."-Jeremiah 1:5

England Is Fast Going Down The Tubes

England is fast going down the tubes.

They are quickly becoming "Englishstan".

The days have long since been gone when British citizens packed out churches to hear the preaching of Charles Hadden Spurgeon ,or the ministry of Smith Wigglesworth.

I know what some are thinking. America is also fast going down the tubes. Look on the bright side, we're not going down as fast!

While the UK's decision to ban Geert Wilders and prevent a showing of "Fitna" garnered much attention, it came on top of a less reported decision by the UK to ban a conservative member of Israel's Likud Party. Moshe Feiglin.

In Feiglin's case there were no scheduled plans for a visit. Nevertheless, the British Home Office wrote to Feiglin notifying him of their decision. The full letter wrote to Feiglin published in the Jewish Chronicle is here.

This is an excerpt:

"The Home Secretary has considered whether, in light of this list, you should be excluded from the United Kingdom. After careful consideration, she has personally directed that you should be excluded from the United Kingdom on the grounds that your presence here would not be conducive to the public good. She has reached this decision because you have used your position to propagate views which foment and provoke others to serious criminal acts and also foster hatred which might lead to inter-community violence in the UK. This has brought you within the scope of the list of unacceptable behaviours."

Via Gates of Vienna,

Here is what they wrote Wilders:

"The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the Secretary of State is of the view that your presence in the UK would pose a genuine, present and sufficiently serious threat to one of the fundemental interests of society. The Secretary of State is satisfied that your statements about Muslims and their beliefs , as expressed in your film Fitna and elsewhere, would threaten community harmony and therefore public security in the UK." More.

Here is one of the comments made by Feiglin that the UK Home Office feels "foment and provoke others to serious criminal acts and also foster hatred which might lead to inter-community violence in the UK"--

“The Christian world is faced with two options: it can fight against terror, which means fighting against Islam, or it can surrender and be gradually overcome by the waves of the modern Moslem Jihad… Arabs are not sons of the desert but its father. They created the desert — everywhere they come vegetation stops and the wind blows everything away” -Feiglin.

The first part of that comment sounds like what Geert Wilders is trying to do. Inform people of the serious threat Islam poses and the need to confront it, not appease it.

I'm no fan of Feiglin. As an Evangelical Christian that staunchly supports Israel, I find a lot of what Feiglin says to be downright offensive. Feiglin, like Jimmy Carter, is working to split Christian support away from Israel.

But he is certainly right about the need to confront the Islamist threat.

The UK had no problem permitting a visit by a propagandist for Hizbullah.

From Israpundit:

"Earlier this month, British authorities granted permission to Ibrahim Mousawi, chief foreign news editor for Hizbullah’s Al-Manar television station in Lebanon, to enter the UK to participate in a number of political events."

"Accused of anti-Semitism and incitement, and recently banned from entering Ireland, his television station aired a 29-part “documentary” in 2004 in which it depicted stereotypical Jews hatching a plot for Jewish world control and domination."

The UK has joined the "Economic Jihad" against Israel:

"The United Kingdom does not have dealings with companies based in Jewish settlements and does not offer assistance to British companies seeking to invest over the Green Line. "

"The British government has also spoken out strongly over produce from Jewish settlements marked as being made in Israel - which allows it to enjoy tariff benefits under an Israel-EU treaty."

The definition of an "honest broker" is one who doesn't take sides. This is clearly not the case with respect to the UK or the Quartet for that matter.

As the UK participates in the Islamist economic jihad against Israelis living and working in Judea and Samaria, it has no problem doing all it can to render economic assistance to Islamists in the PA.

That constitutes a double standard and hypocrisy.

A paper written by Tony Blair in May of 2008 reveals his zeal in that regard. Here is an excerpt:

"Preparations for the establishment of the Jenin Industrial Estate have advanced significantly over the last few months and construction can now start with the support of the German government following agreement reached by the Government of Israel and the Palestinian Authority on arrangements for water and electricity services and access to the site. Construction of the industrial park will stimulate Palestinian economic activity by attracting (foreign) investments and creating sustainable employment and income generation in the region of Jenin. The park will improve services for the Palestinian industries and offer opportunities for regional and international business cooperation."-Blair

"The park will improve services for the Palestinian industries and offer opportunities for regional and international business cooperation."-Blair

But his UK government nor the Quartet he represents will promote regional and international business cooperation for Israelis living and working in Judea and Samaria. They have clearly taken sides.

And in my opinion, the wrong side.

Blair and other diplomats should read Spurgeon And The Nation of Israel

Spurgeon, a non-dispensationalist, once remarked,

"I imagine that you cannot read the Bible without seeing clearly that there is to be an actual restoration of the children of Israel."

In regards to the Bible, Smith Wigglesworth, another well known British preacher, had this to say:

"Never compare this Book with other books. This Book is from heaven. It does not contain the Word of God; it is the Word of God. It is supernatural in origin, eternal in duration and value, infinite in scope and Divine in authorship. Read it through! Pray it in! Write it down."
