Egypt's president basically acknowledged that to Peres.
"A Jew cannot even build a bathroom in Jerusalem without International condemnation"-Dov Hikind, NY Assemblyman
Israel's president Shimon Peres was in Cairo, Egypt for talks with Hosni Mubarak.
The Egyptian president, who has been Egypt's head of state for at least a quarter of a century, warned that Israel would anger all Muslims if it did not resolve what was refered to as Jerusalem's "disputed status".
But the real kicker came when Mubarak emphasized that the future of Jerusalem is "an issue for the entire Islamic world".
Did you get that?
"...an issue for the entire Islamic world..."-Mubarak
That is the equivalent of acknowledging that "Islam" is the real source of the conflict. And the ME conflict as a whole by extension. And not,- an isolated regional conflict between Israel and it's Arab neighbors. As has been the narrative for many years.
As has been previously pointed out in earlier recent posts, these "conflicts" with Muslims around the world, whether the Balkans, Philippines, India, are all intertwined and stem from Islamic ideology, not isolated unrelated "regional" conflicts.
With that in mind, this from WND:
"In defiance of President Obama's demands that Israel cease building in sections of Jerusalem and the West Bank [Judea and Samaria], New York state assemblyman Dov Hikind laid the cornerstone for the second phase of a news Jewish construction project in the Nof Tzion neighborhood in eastern Jerusalem."
"Together with Knesset Member Danny Danon, a member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netnyahu's Likud party, Hikind spoke with reporters about the Jewish right to build in Israel's capital city."
