Cannot think of another headline that would deliver such sensible "shock and awe" if it were true:
"Obama Threatens To End Support for a Palestinian State"
As 'Flow' would say, "when donkeys fly".
The fact is the manchurian Obama regime just "upgraded" the status of the Palestinian Authority's DC office. They can now fly their PA flag outside their office, and enjoy diplomatic immunity. The same as any legitimately recognized state.
So what's going on?
Speaking of donkeys:
The November mid-term elections are only 3 months away.
Even prominent democrats admit that they are likely in for a real beating at the voting booth. Among them Obama's own press secretary Robert Gibbs.
The polls show a clear majority of Americans support securing our borders and not rewarding illegal aliens with amnesty. Something that is totally opposite of what Obama wants.
As well as support for Arizona's tough new anti-illegal immigration law.
And now the Obama regime has had the audacity to file a lawsuit against the enforcement of this law that a majority of Arizona citizens want and need.
Then there is the anger that many have towards Obama for the blanket moratorium on all oil drilling. This is something that is negatively affecting the lives of tens of thousands along the Gulf Coast.
After a judge ruled that Obama's blanket-oil-drilling-moratorium was both unfair and unconstitutional, what does Obama do? He orders the Eric Holder Justice Dept. to file a lawsuit to continue keeping folks along the Gulf Coast from getting back to work on the rigs.
Again, Obama clearly going against the will of the people.
Combine all that with a steady stream of lost support from even liberal democrat U.S. jews over Obama's treatment of Israel,-- well here's the bottom line:
The most recent poll shows a clear majority of American's support Israel, and Obama would like to get back some of his lost support among U.S. jews over his treatment of Israel.
He figures every little bit may help avoid mid-term election disaster for democrats.
So a headline like the one above, and it's AP/Palestinian report, is to have the effect of making it look like Obama is actually getting tough with Abbas.
As it has recently been pointed out, Obama was behind British PM David Cameron's recent rant against Israel.
And with friends like Ali Abunimah and Rashid Khalidi, there is no way Obama is going to end his support for the Israel hating Fatah islamists.
No, there is no truth to the contrived notion that Obama would even remotely consider ending his support for the establishment of a Fatah Palestinian State in the very heart of Israel.
That was something purely for public consumption.
