Breaking from Fox:
Allies Declare Military Action Against Libya:
["Top officials from the United States, Europe and the Arab world have launched immediate military action to protect civilians as Libyan leader Muammar al-Qaddafi's forces attacked the heart of the country's rebel uprising.
French President Nicolas Sarkozy said after an emergency summit in Paris on Saturday that French warplanes are already targeting Qaddafi's forces.
The 22 participants in Saturday's summit "agreed to put in place all the means necessary, in particular military" to make Qaddafi respect a U.N. Security Council resolution Thursday demanding a cease-fire, Sarkozy said."]
This is in quite a stark contrast to the impotent response towards the Iranian Regime's brutal slaughter of it's citizens protesting a stolen election and the Islamist dictatorship!
That is a stark contrast that reveals the double-standard impotency by which Obama, Europe, and the rest of the international community engage in towards Iran. Despite the fact that Iran is clearly a more serious and dangerous threat to the U.S. and our allies.
Doug Powers over at Michell Malkin's site spotlights an Iraq/Libya contrast of Obama's earlier criticism of Bush in regards to Iraq, and his own handling of the situation with Libya:
["President Obama, Nobel Peace Prize winner, launched an attack on another country while in another country, without the congressional approval that George W. Bush had and with only about half as many other countries on board. Obama seemed to feel this constituted enough of a moral high ground from which to take a jab at the former president."]
While this also is a true and valid contrast, it is the Iran/Libya "response" contrast that is the most important and revealing.
Not to mention that the Iranian Mullah's quest to obtain nuclear capability marches on completely unhindered:
Obama, UN Hypocrisy: Iran / Libya Response Contrast:
"No fan of the moonbat "crazy dictator" of Libya, Muammar Qaddafi, but-the Obama Administration and the UN have never been this tough with the "crazy" Islamofascist dictators in Iran:
["Any time you have somebody who laughs with American and international journalists while slaughtering his own people, I think they're not only delusional, one has to question their grip on reality," Rice said on NBC's "Today Show," referring to an interview Qaddafi gave Monday to ABC and the BBC.]
["We have to assume that we're dealing with somebody who is no longer--if ever was--fit to lead his nation and whose behavior is unpredictable and irrational," Rice added-, read the rest here].
Neither Obama nor the Islamofascist-highjacked UN have ever made, or issued any statements like that about Ahmadinejad.
Ahmadinejad and the ruling Iranian Islamofacist regime laughed at the international community while they murdered-slaughtered their own citizens protesting a stolen election."
