"Executing the Vision of Israel's Pre-War 1967 Borders Presents Some Serious Logistical Issues"

Vittert writes:
"For Israel, President Obama's announcement of basing a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders creates not only huge strategic and tactical issues, but practical ones as well. "
"About 6 percent of Jewish Israelis live outside the ’67 borders in the West Bank. Of the 350,000 Jews in the West Bank..."
[not West Bank Mr. Vittert, but Judea and Samaria. West Bank is propaganda designed to de-legitimise Israel's historical connection to their own land.]
First, as the media watchdog Camera has pointed out, the MSM including Fox have wrongly refered to the 1949 Armistice lines as borders:
["In a May 19 policy speech, President Barack Obama, referring to the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, said the “1967 lines” should be the basis of a future border between Israel and Palestine. Major media organizations subsequently announced, wrongly, that Obama referenced “1967 borders.”
Diplomatic implications aside, President Obama correctly used the term “lines” to describe what was the frontier between Israel and the Jordanian-occupied West Bank [Judea and Samaria] between 1949 and 1967. But major media organizations, including some Jewish and Israeli sources, claimed he referenced “1967 borders.”
Obama actually said: “We believe the borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states.”
But an Associated Press headline, typical of the widespread misreporting of the speech, inaccurately asserted that “Obama urges Israel to go back to 1967 borders.”
The difference between the two terms — borders and lines — is extremely significant.
The Green Line, to which the president was referring, served as an armistice demarcation line between Israel and Jordan. The armistice line was established April 3, 1949 by Article III of the Israel-Jordan Armistice Agreement and was never the “border” between Israel and the West Bank.
On the contrary, the agreement specifically notes that the lines are not borders: "The Armistice Demarcation Lines defined in articles V and VI of this Agreement are agreed upon by the Parties without prejudice to future territorial settlements or boundary lines or to claims of either Party relating thereto.
In short, the word “border” implies legality, political significance and permanence that does not apply in this circumstance."]
There has never been any kind of border running through the Jordan Valley between the Jordan river and the Mediteranrean.
In addition, notice the photo above. Yesterday a different photo also of Israeli homes [completed, not under construction] was briefly featured at the top of the FoxNews website with the writers headline-
"This is what It's all About"
The obvious implied message being that the conflict between Israel and the Arab Islamists -is all about what the biased MSM incorrectly calls settlements. Reenforcing the false Islamist propaganda.
No Mr. Vittert, Israelis building, living, working in their own land of Judea and Samaria is not "what it's all about".
Rather, it is all about, and stems from Islamic ideology. In short, Islam is the source of the "conflict".
And not only in the Middle East, but also in the Philippines where Islamists have been trying to take over the southern Mindanao, and with the help of the Arab League, establish "Bangsamoro". Which in English means "The Muslim State."
If they are successful, if the Philippine government caves in and makes appeasement, such a "Bangsamoro" state will be used as a springboard from which the Islamists will then attempt a compltete take over of all the Philippines. Howbeit, in stages, like the Abbas/Arafat Phased Plan.
The silver lining in regard to the Spanish and American imperialism in the South Pacific was that it helped slow down the Islamic imperialism and expansion.
The conflict between Israel and the Islamists in the Middle East is just one geographic area of a global conflict with militant Islam that has been going on for 1400 years.
Before the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, most of America was snug in isolationist mode indifferent to the war Hitler and the Nazis were waging in Europe.
It was only after the attack on America at Pearl Harbor, and Germany's following declaration of war, that the U.S. finally became seriously involved in fighting to defeat the Nazis.
The silver lining to the horrible jihad terror attacks against America on 9/11, was that America became more actively involved in fighting the war that our ally Israel has been fighting for 63 years.
Just as the British were already fighting to resist the Nazis before the U.S. became involved.
