Obama Makes Mischief : Tzipi Hotovely Makes Sense

IMG_9267-e12898655979871 Via- Zalmi's blog-

"Our Tzipi is better than Kadima's Tzipi":

[Likud MK Tzipi Hotovely's response to Obama's "'67 lines" speech]

"To my dear friends,
I have always had a great affinity for America. I lived there, when I did my national service for Israel as an emissary in Atlanta, not so long ago. As a girl in school in Rechovot, at a young age, I learned that America was the first country to recognize the nascent State of Israel's independence. So tonight is a sad night... a very sad night, for myself, for the Jewish people, and for our country.
Before another day dawns in Israel, I am obligated to correct a few inaccuracies in the American President's speech. Then I want to tell you what WE are going to do about them.
President Obama stated:  "What America and the international community can do is to state frankly what everybody knows. A lasting peace will involve two states for two peoples". I am obligated to correct the President. Not everybody knows, recognizes, or believes in two states. This is not the platform of the Likud, That is not my belief, and as a legislator in Jerusalem, I will do all that is in my power to ensure the future of the Jewish State lies from the Mediterranean to the Jordan.
Then there was the endorsement of a return to the 1967 lines, with the quick and ambiguous allusion to the white elephant in the room, namely Jerusalem. Of course, in 1967, Jerusalem was divided and an endorsement for these borders is a de facto endorsement of dividing the eternal capital of the Jewish people. This means no Western Wall, No temple Mount, No old city. This means rending the heart of Israel from our people. This is not a sustainable policy and this is not acceptable, for unless Washington DC is negotiable than neither is Jerusalem! Yet letters, articles, and voicing discontent are sometimes not enough.
We must speak through action. We must use our actions to communicate that Jerusalem is indivisible and that no man, even the President of the United States, can put a boundary on the Jewish People's connection to its capital. This message must be communicated to our Prime Minister, so that he may know that he needs not bow to pressure, for his nation is behind him. This message must be sounded in capitals throughout the world, by citizens of all nations. For this reason, next Friday May 27th, 2011, I will be conducting a tour of unified liberated Jerusalem for the Likud Anglo movement (Details here). Likud Anglos brings together Jews of all nationalities, and together we will defend our claim.
Lastly Mr. Obama outlined how we need to make some important choices, between hate and hope, and between the shackles of the past and the promise of the future, and here I agree with him. We must recognize the hatred that is fomented against us and we must hope that if we trust in our rock and our redeemer, our morals and our convictions, that the Jewish State will persevere. We must choose to destroy the shackles of failed diplomatic tracts, and through that we can create a more secure future for our state. Lastly, no matter where you are from, we must choose to stand together, as Jews, united for the only state that we have, the State of Israel.
Long before President Obama informed us that this time of choices was upon us, King David wrote the words which every Jewish groom recites on his wedding day: "If I forsake thee oh Jerusalem, let my right hand lose its cunning". I invite you all to join me next Friday and to make that choice, to stand with Israel, and to stand with a unified Jerusalem."
"Shabbat Shalom"-MK Tzipi Hotovely
 Did you get that?
Read this part of Hotovely's letter again again:

"President Obama stated:
"What America and the international community can do is to state frankly what everybody knows. A lasting peace will involve two states for two peoples". -Obama
"I am obligated to correct the President."
"Not everybody knows, recognizes, or believes in two states."
 "This is not the platform of the Likud, That is not my belief, and as a legislator in Jerusalem, I will do all that is in my power to ensure the future of the Jewish State lies from the Mediterranean to the Jordan."--Hotovely
From the river to the sea,-Israel will always be!

Something Rotten in the New York Times and other MSM

John Brown opposed slavery and passionately wanted its abolition. But in the wrong way and criminal insane way:

On May 24th 1856 John Brown and his sons murdered five men who supported slavery. Although none of those men actually owned slaves.

Later during the infamous "John Brown's Raid", Brown and his gang would illegally seize by force an armory at Harpers Ferry, Va. Take hostages. Kill a mayor and four townspeople.

Not to mention the murdering of a free black man who was working as a railroad baggage handler.

Would it be fair to attribute the murdering mayhem of innocent people, perpetrated by John Brown and his gang, to the cause of abolitionists?

Or to their writings and preaching against slavery?

Not hardly.

And the very thought of such a thing would be an absolute outrageous falsehood.

Nor would it be fair or correct to attribute in any way the murdering mayhem of innocent people in Norway, perpetrated by monster Anders Breivik, to the important cause of counter-jihadists.

Yet that is the very type of repugnant false accusation the clueless MSM is making with regards to some of the most helpful and resourceful bloggers in their efforts to truthfully inform.

Factually and truthfully informing the public concerning the very real threat and danger posed by the steath jihad, Islamic shariah law, and militant global jihad has been a hallmark of excellence from Robert Spencer, Pamela Geller [Atlas Shrugs], and Gates of Vienna.

It is also an outrageous falsehood, total media distortion, and spin to put any of the blame for Norway's recent terror tradgedy on these helpful bloggers.

Recent remarks made by Marc Sageman, via the NYT, concerning these helpful bloggers are an absolute falsehood:

"Marc Sageman, a former C.I.A. officer and a consultant on terrorism, said it would be unfair to attribute Mr. Breivik’s violence to the writers who helped shape his world view."

[Indeed, it most certainly is unfair to attribute Mr. Breivik's madman carnage to any of those writers or their writings.

And just as it would be false to attribute the shaping of John Brown's twisted mind-set that embraced violence to the writings or preaching of abolitionists, it is also false to attribute the worldview of Mr. Breivik to any of the aforementioned helpful bloggers.]

"But at the same time, he said the counterjihad writers do argue that the fundamentalist Salafi branch of Islam “is the infrastructure from which Al Qaeda emerged."

"Well, they and their writings are the infrastructure from which Breivik emerged.”

[False.

The murdering carnage of John Brown did not "emerge" from the cause of abolition, but from his own twisted mind that embraced the evil of violence.

--and the mass-murdering monster Mr. Breivik did not "emerge" from the writings of Atlas Shrugs, Robert Spencer, or Gates of Vienna.

But rather, from his own twisted mind that embraced evil.

Robert Spencer, Pamela Geller [Atlas Shrugs], Gates of Vienna, and a host of other counter-jihadist bloggers are - "jihad-abolitionists".

They inform and enlighten the public in the much worthy cause of--

seeking to abolish Islamic-slavery,

the abolition of discrimination against women and non-Muslim minorities in majority Muslim countries,

the abolition of honor-killings perpetrated against Muslim women,

the abolition of Islamic-shariah law which foments dicrimination and undermines human rights and democracy,

the complete and total abolition of dhimmitude,

the abolition of Islamic supremacism.

This is a "jihad-abolitionist" blogsite.

Norwegian and other MSM have also falsely characterized Breivik as being "Christian".

The Truth About Judea and Samaria: So Called West Bank

Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon helps clear up some common false naratives :

In addition:

Last year Thomas Sandell of the European Coalition of Israel helped organize an event to commemorate the signing of the San Remo Resolution in 1920.

That resolution bestowed international recognition of a national Jewish Homeland in Israel and also Jewish settlement in all of Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria.

It is the high-jacked United Nations, European Union, U.S. State Dept., and the other members of the infamous "Quartet" that are in violation of international law,--not Israel:

HR 306: Congress Urges Turkey to Safeguard its Christian Heritage

A Congressional resolution adapted just this past June that the MSM did not give much attention to:

HR 306-

"Urging the Republic of Turkey to safeguard its Christian heritage and to return confiscated church properties."

Whereas the United States has an interest in protecting and preserving the rights of national, religious, and ethnic groups worldwide;

Whereas the United States remains concerned about the welfare of Christian communities within the Republic of Turkey, their right to worship and practice their faiths freely, and the legal status and condition of churches and other places of worship, monasteries, schools, hospitals, monuments, relics, holy sites, and other religious properties in the Republic of Turkey;

Whereas the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) affirms that ‘(e)veryone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance’;

Whereas the Republic of Turkey is a signatory to the UDHR and therefore is obligated to accord to all its citizens, including religious minorities, ‘freedom of thought, conscience, and religion’, as defined by the UDHR;

Whereas the Ottoman Empire’s oppression and intentional destruction of much of its ancient Christian populations, including over 2,000,000 Armenians, Greeks, Assyrians, Pontians, and Syriacs, has left only a small fraction of these populations to care for their vast religious heritage within modern Turkey;

Whereas the non-Muslim population in the contemporary Republic of Turkey is less than one percent of the total population, rendering these religious communities especially vulnerable;

Whereas the Republic of Turkey has been responsible for the destruction and theft of much of the Christian heritage within its borders;

Whereas the Republic of Turkey, through official and unofficial acts of discrimination, intolerance, and intimidation, has hindered the remaining Christians on its territory from freely practicing their ancient faiths;

Whereas in its 2011 Annual Report, the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom placed Turkey on its ‘Watch List’ for the third straight year, and concluded that “The Turkish government continues to impose serious limitations on freedom of religion or belief, thereby threatening the continued vitality and survival of minority religious communities in Turkey.”; and

Whereas Turkish reforms carried out over the past decade to ameliorate the situation of religious minorities have been sorely inadequate: Now, therefore, be it

Resolved, That the House of Representatives urges the Government of Turkey to honor its obligations under international treaties and human rights law to--

  1. end all forms of religious discrimination;

  2. allow the rightful church and lay owners of Christian church properties, without hindrance or restriction, to organize and administer prayer services, religious education, clerical training, appointments, and succession, religious community gatherings, social services, including ministry to the needs of the poor and infirm, and other religious activities;

  3. return to their rightful owners all Christian churches and other places of worship, monasteries, schools, hospitals, monuments, relics, holy sites, and other religious properties, including movable properties, such as artwork, manuscripts, vestments, vessels, and other artifacts; and

  4. allow the rightful Christian church and lay owners of Christian church properties, without hindrance or restriction, to preserve, reconstruct, and repair, as they see fit, all Christian churches and other places of worship, monasteries, schools, hospitals, monuments, relics, holy sites, and other religious properties within Turkey.]

Since the U.S. invasion and takedown of Sadam Hussein, Iraqi [Assyrian] Christians have been persecuted, bombed, and forced to leave their ancestral homeland by Muslims.

Genocide is taking place against Iraqi Christians.

Wasserman Schultz called Bill to ban taxpayer funded Abortions-- "Violent"

Huh?

Democratic chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz characterized as "violent", a largely GOP supported bill to restrict taxpayer funded abortions back in February.

The bill HR3 "No Taxpayer Funding for Abortions Act" was subsequently adapted by the U.S. House with only 16 democrats also supporting it.

175 democrats voted against it, including Wasserman Schultz of Florida. However, another Florida representative, Allen West, exercized sanity and voted in favor of the bill.

Wasserman Schultz has things backwards.

A bill to ban taxpayer funding of abortions is not violence against women.

It is abortion, an American holocaust, that is "violent".

Syrian Parliament Member: "U. S. Ambassador a Dog"

And should be "...pelted with shoes."

So says Syrian MP Khaled Abboud. From Memri:

Flashback from 2010 via Creeping Sharia:

"Obama appoints ambassador to state sponsor of terrorism"-

More hope and change…for Islamic terrorists. Obama wanted to deal with state sponsors of terror Syria and bypassed the Senate to do so. What’s next? Financial aid to Syria?

"The White House has announced the appointment of a new ambassador to Syria — a controversial move by U.S. President Barack Obama, who used his Constitutional muscle on Wednesday to name the envoy while the Senate was not in session."

The previous ambassador to Syria was withdrawn by former President George W. Bush in 2005 in response to the assassination of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, as well as its support for Saddah Hussein-sympathizers and terrorism in general. There were strong indications at the time that Syria was behind Hariri’s murder, although Damascus denied involvement in the truck bombing.

The Obama administration has contended since taking office that re-establishing diplomatic relations would be the best way to convince Syria – listed by the State Department as a “state sponsor of terrorism” to change its policies towards Israel and the rest of the Middle East.

“Making undeserved concessions to Syria tells the regime in Damascus that it can continue to pursue its dangerous agenda and not face any consequences from the U.S.,” explained the incoming chairperson of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Republican Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen. She told reporters in a prepared statement, “That is the wrong message to be sending to a regime which continues to harm and threaten U.S. interests and those of such critical allies as Israel.”

Best Place in America

Downtown_Colorado_Springs_3_by_David_Shankbone

Lord willing, future retirement home.

For over 30 years a great travel destination and living experience.

Front range of the Rocky Mountains and back-country wilderness hiking.

The "Mountain Man" outfitter supply store in Manitou was always a favorite stop before hitting the trail.

Not to mention the down-home restaurant that was just across the street.

Thanksgiving buffet at the Broadmoor, and "Old Colorado City" along Colorado Avenue between Manitou and downtown Colorado Springs.

Can't wait!

Congressional "Non-Binding" Resolution?--Who are They Foolin?

If its non-binding what good is it?

Congress has just passed a "non-binding" resolution to cut off funds to the Fatah run Palestinian Authority if it attempts going to the UNSC in an effort to impose the establishment of a "Palestine" state based on the 1949 Armistice lines.

From INN

["The US House of Representatives voted 407-6 to pass a non-binding resolution backing the suspension of funds to the cash-strapped Palestinian Authority should it pursue its bid for a unilateral declaration of statehood by the United Nations in September."]

One commenter at INN hit the nail on the head:

["So what is the purpose of passing this resolution if it is NON-BINDING? I guess they want to have it both ways...see, Israel, we passed this resolution to get American Jewish dollars for elections but it doesn't mean anything because it's just for show!."]

Just for show. Like the Jerusalem Embassy Relocation Act of 1995 adapted by Congress to move the U.S. embassy from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem.

Something to boast of to voters.

But the legislation had a built-in option of a presidential waiver. Thereby rendering the legislation meaningless. As no U.S. president since the adaption of the Jerusalem Embassy Relocation Act has ever followed through on it.

If the members of Congress who voted for it were really serious, they would have expressed outrage when the president chose not to comply.

Indeed, there would have been press-conferences and calls to the Whitehouse galore.

But there has been none of that.

Congress needs to officially end its support for the two-state non-solution Roadmap-Phased Plan, and instead fully support the Jerusalem Connection Peace Plan.

The only plan that makes sense and is based on reallity.

Fatah PLO Propaganda Smoke Blowers

Some jihad terrorists just love wearing a suit and tie.

Saeb Erekat, Nimmer Hamad:

ShowImage

Jpost reports that Erekat "blasted" the U.S. Congress for threatening to cut off funding to the Palestinian Authority if it tries going to the UNSC to impose a Palesinian state based on the indefensible borders of 1949 [pre-'67].

"Erekat blasted Congress and the Senate for threatening to cut off financial aid to the Palestinians as “unacceptable and unjustified.”

[What is unacceptable and unjustified is that Congress has not already cut off funds to the Palestinian Authority.

Considering that U.S. law prohibits the funding of terrorist organizations.

 And that the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, a recognized foreign terrorist group, was officially endorsed by Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah as their military-wing.

Members of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades openly serve in PA Fatah Security services.]

The Islamist demand for the imposition of a "Palestine" state in the heart of Israel's land of Judea and Samaria,--

the Islamist demand for a "Bangsamoro" state in the southern Philippines,-

is all part of imperialist Islam's quest for global Islamic domination.

What happened when the Islamists captured Contantinople? The changed the name to an Islamic name and converted its main church of Hagia Sophia into a mosque. A symbol of Islamic supremacism.

What happened when the Islamists conquered Syria? They converted the church of John the Baptist into a mosque. Another symbol of Islamic supremacism.

Here's more from Ruthfully Yours:

["In 634, Caliph Umar conquered Christian Syria and converted the Church of Job in Ash Shaykh Sa’d into the Mosque of Job; three years later, Umar conquered Hebron, including the second holiest Jewish site, the Cave of the Patriarchs, the traditional burial place of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Today the Ibrahimi Mosque stands on that site. In 638, Umar conquered Jerusalem, where the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa mosques were later built on the holiest Jewish site, the Temple Mount.

Around the same time, Muslim armies conquered Damascus and converted the Church of St. John the Baptist (built during the reign of Emperor Constantine I) into the Umayyad Mosque. Muslims also conquered Gaza and converted a fifth-century Byzantine church into the Great Omari Mosque of Gaza.

During the 8th century Islamic conquest of Spain, Emir Abd ar-Rahman converted the beautiful Visigothic Church of Saint Vincent into the Great Aljama Mosque of Córdoba. Also during the 8th and 9th centuries, Muslim conquerors in Egypt converted Coptic Christian churches and Jewish synagogues into mosques, and Muslim invaders in Palermo, Sicily, transformed the Church of Saint Mary of the Assumption into the Great Mosque of Bal’harm.

In 1387, Turkish Muslims conquered the Greek city of Thessaloniki (the city of the 1st century church of the Thessalonians) and converted the Katholikon Monastery and the Church of Aghia Sophia into mosques. In 1453, Muslim armies under Sultan Mehmet II conquered Constantinople and converted a beautiful Byzantine church, the Hagia Sophia, into the Ayasofya Mosque. The church’s brilliant gold mosaic tiles were painted white and covered with verses from the Quran. A similar fate befell Saint Clement’s Macedonian Orthodox Monastery in the Balkans, the Toulon Cathedral in France, the Church of Saint John the Forerunner in Constantinople, and several cathedrals in Cyprus."]
