A Jog/Run Through America's Most Historic City: Part Two

Part 2 of a series.

Memorial Day Jog/Run:

Other than the nation's capital city being named in honor of the first president, the District of Columbia has little real connection to George Washington.

That historical connection belongs to Fredericksburg, Va.

Below,- Washington Avenue 'mall' [so to speak]:

Looking down Washington Avenue can be seen the Freedom of Religion monument. A hallmark of any true democracy:

In the photo above, looking down Washinton Avenue, just to the left can be seen the 'Mary Washington' monument.

Below, a closer look:

COEXIST!!!! [Right...?]

Expert: 40% of Turkish population does not want to live with the Christian neighbor,

--from the Times via Europe News.

The meat of the matter:

[“The social inquiries in Turkey show that 40 % of the population does not want to live with the Christian neighbor. And 58 % of them does not want to live with Jew neighbor”, Simavoryan noted.

Expert also noted that Armenian community is on the eve of vanishing in Turkey as a result of the intolerance attitude. According to him media is very active in this issue. “Every action by the Christian Church is presented as negative action. Even the churches are presented as terrorist organizations”.

Expert of the “Noravanq” foundation Vahram Hovyan announced in his turn that the attacks and pressure against Christians are held both by the government and by the Turk extremists."]

U.S. Representatives Demand Turkey's Return of Churches

["A growing number of Members of the House of Representatives have praised the passage last week of a landmark resolution calling upon Turkey to return the Christian church properties it stole through genocide, and to end its repression of the surviving members of the vast Christian civilizations that once represented a majority in the territory of the present-day Republic of Turkey, reported the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA)."]

Finally,---a U.S. Congressman Dares to Talk Sense

Now the rest of Congress and the Senate need to get on board:

["Two weeks ago, US Congressman Joe Walsh published an op-ed in the The Washington Times in which he called for the US and Israel to abandon the two-state solution.

After running through the record of Palestinian duplicity, failed governance, terrorism and bad faith, he called for Israel to apply its sovereignty to Judea and Samaria. In his words, Israel should "adopt the only solution that will bring true peace to the Middle East: a single Israeli state from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. Israel is the only country in the region dedicated to peace and the only power capable of stable, just and democratic government in the region."]

"...Israel should adapt the only solution that will bring true peace to the Middle East: a single Israeli state from the Jordan river to the Mediteranean Sea."

Anti-Israel propagandists are promoting the bogus assertion that if there is no Palestinian state imposed in the heart of Israel's own land of Judea and Samaria, then Israel must make all those anti-Israel Muslims full Israeli citizens.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

The arabs who live in Judea and Samaria can have autonomy to govern themselves within Israel. They can have their own elections, [as they do now]. They only want a "state" as a means to destroy Israel.

It is international hypocrisy.

The world will not countenance an independent "Kurdistan". The Kurds are only allowed limited autonomy in northern Iraq.

But the same international leaders demand a Palestinian state in the heart of Israel's own land.

"Who Truly Deserves a State? the Kurds or the Palestinians"

["There are over twenty Arab states throughout the Middle East and North Africa, but the world demands, in a chorus of barely disguised animosity towards Israel, that yet another Arab state be created within the mere forty miles separating the Mediterranean Sea and the River Jordan.

Israel, a territory no larger than the tiny principality of Wales or the state of New Jersey, would be forced to share this sliver of land with a new and hostile Arab entity to be called Palestine, while seeing its present narrow waist reduced to a mere and suicidal nine miles in width -- what an earlier Israeli statesman, Abba Eban, described as the Auschwitz borders.

Remember, there has never existed in all of recorded history an independent sovereign nation called Palestine -- and certainly not an Arab one. The term "Palestine" has always been the name of a geographical territory, such as Siberia or Patagonia. It has never been a state.

But there is a people who, like the Jews, deserves a homeland and truly can trace their ancestry back thousands of years. They are the Kurds, and it is highly instructive to review their remarkable history in conjunction with that of the Jews. It is also necessary to review the historical injustice imposed upon them over the centuries by hostile neighbors and empires."]

Memo to Denmark: Judea and Samaria belong to, and "are" Israel

For Denmark and the rest of the dhimmi governments of Europe,--

"put that in your foreign policy pipe and smoke it"!

Jpost reports that Denmark will begin marking with a label all Israeli products made in Judea and Samaria in order to bow down in appeasement to the anti-Israel Islamic boycott.

The Quartet and the EU remain in violation of international law on this matter.

The intimadation factor:

"Increase in [Islamic] Terrorist Threat Level for Europe"

NATO Not Inviting Israel to Summit Meeting

But Islamist Israel-hating countries are:

["Israel will not be invited to NATO's May 20-21 summit in Chicago, the
alliance's top official said Friday. But he denied that alliance member Turkey
had blocked Israel's participation.

Instead, NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said the reason is
because Israel does not participate in NATO's main military missions.

News reports have claimed that Turkey blocked Israel's participation..."]

Hmmm, --now just what would give someone the idea that Turkey could possibly want to block Israel from being a participant?

Rioting Muslims Trying to Shut Down Free Speech in Bonn

From A7 News:

Muslim rioters clash with German police

["German police clashed on Saturday with Muslim protesters who were demonstrating against an anti-Islam protest in Bonn. Riots broke out when police attempted to break up the Muslim group, which was protesting against the far-right demonstrators, who displayed anti-Islamic caricatures during their protest"]

-read the rest here.

The A7 News article referenced above, as well as MSM media describe the Muslims as rioting against an "anti-Islam" protest. It would be more accurate to use the term "anti-Islamization" protest.

Jihad Watch sums up the Muslim rioting as an attack against free speech:

["More on the violent Muslim attack on free speech in Bonn, Germany, on May 5th (JihadWatch: "Bonn, Germany: Club-wielding army of 600 Muslims attack as Muhammad cartoons are shown publicly. 29 policemen hurt, 109 arrests." and "Muhammad cartoon demonstration in Bonn, Germany: Muslims shooting at the police. Police to free speech activists: "Shut up!" Peaceful demonstrators asked to leave.")

Hallmark of the Religious Left: Hating America and Israel

Methodist: "Repentance for America's Sins"

["The Religious Left likes to “repent” for other peoples’ sins, preferably the sins of dead white persons who left this world centuries ago while supposedly bequeathing only a shameful legacy of colonialist repression. In Religious Left mythology, the earth is essentially a kind place, besmirched only by Western imperialism, capitalism, and patriarchy.

Faithful to this myth, officials of the 12 million member United Methodist Church hosted an “Act of Repentance toward Healing Relationships with Indigenous Peoples” at the denomination’s quadrennial governing General Conference..."]
